About Me
Hey! I’m Vivek Kumar, I’m a dentist by profession, a clinical researcher by passion, and a traveler at heart.
I love meeting people from different cultures, sharing stories, and learning how others see the world. Whether it’s exploring hidden gems in a city, enjoying local food, or having a deep conversation over tea or coffee-I’m all in!
I’m respectful, clean, and easygoing. I value kindness, curiosity, and good vibes. Couch surfing for me is about genuine human connection and cultural exchange.
Let’s share stories, meals, and memories!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I love connecting with people from different backgrounds and hearing their stories. For me, travel is more meaningful when you get to experience a place through the eyes of someone who lives there.
It’s not just about seeing new cities it’s about making genuine connections, learning about local culture, and sharing moments that you don’t find in a guidebook. I enjoy exchanging ideas, stories, and experiences with people who value curiosity, kindness, and open-mindedness.
Couchsurfing helps turn strangers into friends and that’s something I truly value.
Interests
I enjoy exploring new cultures, meaningful conversations, local food, music, and spontaneous adventures. I’m into public health, psychology, and learning how people live around the world. I also love nature walks, good books, thought provoking movies, and quiet moments in busy places.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a wide range of music from deep, reflective lyrics to energetic beats. My playlist jumps from hip-hop to fusion and even traditional sounds. I love discovering local music wherever I go, whether it’s a street performance, a live acoustic set, or a jam session in someone’s living room.
I’m a big fan of immersive storytelling and epic series. I love shows that build entire worlds and keep you hooked with complex characters and unexpected twists something like Game of Thrones really hits the mark. I also enjoy thrillers, historical dramas, and documentaries that open your mind.
One of the best books I’ve read is The Silent Patient psychological thrillers like that really stay with me. I enjoy books that are suspenseful, smart, and make you rethink everything by the last page.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went skydiving and it was one of the most thrilling and surreal moments of my life. The freefall lasted around 30 minutes, but it felt like time completely stopped. As I floated over the earth with nothing but air and adrenaline, I felt a deep sense of freedom, fear, and excitement all at once. It reminded me how small we are and how beautiful life is when you take a leap. Literally!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make a good cup of tea. I’m always happy to share travel ideas and stories. I’d love to learn about your local food and traditions, and together we can share our cultures and experiences.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I bring good vibes, respectful energy, and a genuine curiosity for people and places. I’m happy to share interesting conversations, travel stories, and perspectives from my background in health and research.
If you enjoy cooking or food, I can try making a simple dish from my home country or we can explore local flavors together. I’m also more than willing to help out around the house, assist with errands, or simply be a kind and mindful guest.
Whether it’s sharing a walk, a laugh, or just quiet company, I appreciate any opportunity to connect and contribute during my stay.
