ABOUT ME
Well, I'm Vivek Sirohi. Life has been great since 1992, I was born in Defence family. So, you know they keep posting to different places. I was born in Vizak now Visakhapatnam, then Mumbai followed by Kochi and back to Mumbai. I started working as an assistant director with a few renowned directors and later decided to work independently. Currently, I'm working as a marketing strategist.

Travelling was always there in my blood but never thought one day it will help me change everything. My view, My vision, My purpose.

Travel is the only true love of my life. I travel to seek other places, other lives, other souls and to learn and later give it back.

PHILOSOPHY

Well, I think life is a waste if you don't know the purpose of you on earth.

A desire without a plan is simply a wish, but a desire with a definite plan becomes the foundation for success. Coming up with a plan can be a daunting task. It starts with coming up with a personal philosophy on life and the things we value. How can you come up with any kind of plan, if you don't have a vision of what you want to accomplish? Furthermore, how can you come up with a vision if you don't know what kind of values and fundamentals you want to represent in that vision?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CouchSurfing is a community of travelers, backpackers, nomads, and pretty much everyone else on a global scale. People from all walks of life can be found among its members. What these people, including me, have done is gone to the website and created a profile. Most people agree to host travelers in their homes, though it is not required. Some simply agree to meet with travelers coming to their village/town/city and show them around. The level of commitment and participation is entirely up to the individual member. Up until a few months before I left for Chandigarh, I was not a member of CouchSurfing and I knew virtually nothing about it. This past weekend in Manali was my first experience surfing on someone’s couch and it has opened a whole new world to me.
