I'm originally from Hunan province, china. I came to the US completely by myself when I was 17. I Went to high school in New York for my senior year, now I'm studying in university of Iowa earning my finance degree. I work for a non profit organization that's dealing with mental health and substance abuse, we work with LGBT too. I'm very outgoing and I am a huge fun of learning foreign languages. I am also willing to learn new cultures and get to know different people, I believe everyone is special and I can always see some good stuff in people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My dream is to travel around world before I get too old to do that. I realized there are so many things in life that are worth to see, to feel, to realize about their beauty. Meeting new friends are definitely something I'm looking for too, everyone has a story to tell, I'm ready to hear about them.

Interests

I love traveling, obviously. I played piano when I was younger and I know couple songs on guitar. I also like to draw in my spare time, always always love meeting new people and I like to attend different social events as well. Snowboarding in the winter, swimming in the summer, hiking in the spring and enjoying the sightseeing in the fall...I like to try all kinds of new things, I'd like to meet someone here to teach me some cool way of living:)

Music, Movies, and Books

Electronic, Jazz, saxophone, chill lounge music, some pop and some classic. I like documentaries about world wars and other interesting historical events or psychology shows.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are so many amazing things I've done in my life. Most recently I jumped off a cliff at rick's cafe in Jamaica and had huge bruises all over my thighs and my butt, my tailbone still hurts but the experience was worth it lol

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am more than willing to spend time with my host and get to know them. I like to talk about culture and histories, as well as how to live mindfully. I can share all my wonderful traveling experiences with you, all the laughs, tears or tips of avoiding troubles in a foreign country! I'm also willing to help you with any house works or anything I can do.
