My name is Vivian, and I am a 28 year old creative with a passion for life and travel. I am a business owner and work as a full time multidisciplinary creative, which means I make, sew, write, photograph, etc.

You can find me reading at home with a glass of red wine, snuggling with my chihuahua, eating everything in sight, or finding some new creative venture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always thought traveling was expensive, and I am ready to try this new and interesting world of couchsurfing and travel hacking, to be able to travel to more places, experience more adventures, and meet new like minded people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't listen to much music, but when I do it's usually girl anthem type stuff, I admit it. That, or whatever top 40's stuff is on the radio. I like a little bit of everything except for rock and metal.

My favorite movie of all time is Legally Blonde, and not ashamed of it! I don't watch a lot of movies, I am more of a "binge everything on Netflix" type. Recent binges include: Shameless, Greys Anatomy, Sexual Education, Friends.

I love to read. I re-read the Harry Potter series at least once a year, and try to read at least one other book a month.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the 9th grade I was determined to travel, so I convinced my German teacher that our class should go on a class trip to Churchill Manitoba. I organized the entire thing, from convincing the school to go for it, finding accommodations, making it educational to satisfy the teachers, and setting up fundraisers to pay for it.
