About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get to know myself and the world

ABOUT ME

A 100% foodie, 80% world traveller, 50% scholar and 10% comedian.

Have a silly idea of making the world a better place, thus studying Education Policy in grads school.

Been in the states for one year and have been enjoying the pain of old Eastern ideology crashing western living style.

Love making new friends and experience the life I have never been in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience with CS was in Cambodia where I volunteered in during 2012 summer. A friend of mine found her host in Phnom Penh who turned to be my very first CS host Dominic. After a year or so, Dominic and I met again in China and witnessed each other's growth.

This is the reason I am here, I gain this incredible opportunity to cross my path with literally anyone, anyone who would have totally parallel path to mine. We share a brief moment and move on with our lives, someday we might see each other again and we might not. All in God's plan.

Interests

I love food and I love cooking! Please give me a chance to make a meal for you.

I love travelling, of course. Also a big fan of coin collection from different countries.

I write short stories, poems and hopefully novel in the future.

All kinds of sports: swimming, dancing, yoga, ping-pong, badminton, hiking etc.is enjoyable for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Milan Kundera's books especially The Unbearable Lightness of Being;
Jane Austen and Charlotte Brontë are my favorite writers.

1990s films are my favorite like The Truman Show.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I watched sun set this summer at Oasis over Lake Travis in Austin, it was the most beautiful scene I have ever seen. My significant other and I had a talk about human's world and God's world, I realize how beautiful this world is created by God.
