Music, Movies, and Books
Cinema:
Independent cinema, sci-fi, animation
Books:
Any book that strikes a chord really! I like to ask people about one of their favourite books.
"The hitchicker guide to the galaxy" for me is the apotheosis of Douglas Adams's work. Such an out-wordly piece of writing, yet very funny and yet deeply environmentally conscious. Crucial for human kind evolution...
Music:
Here again, to the risk of repeating myself, any music piece/song that strikes a chord really. Worldly, classical, traditional, artec, rap, hip-hop, trance, acapella, alternative, country, rock, techno, jazz, blues, lullabies... you name it!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So we were awaiting Spring with great impatience indeed, after such a long and cold winter, in a small Polish village called Lipa or lime-tree, situated in a valley surrounded by big hills... beautiful.
One day, while walking with Caoutchouk, our dog, i saw two guys fishing on a frozen lake, a group of dears flying from the top of a hill to the depth of the forest, and a big, very very big wild pig (Caoutchouk for once didn't peep, I wonder why ahahah!). Luckily, this humongus boar was either blind, deaf and had a cold; really felt my connection as a newly converted vegetarian or was simply not hungry. Because with us being just a few steps away, he unloaded bowels gracefully and trotted away unconcerned.
Somehow I didn't feel afraid. Maybe because of the right amount of oxygen in my brain or the sens of awe coming out of this amazing scenery, for always carved into my heart.
