ABOUT ME

Hi there!
I am Vanjul, better known as VJ in my friends (to be honest most of them call me that coz they find my name hard to pronounce but trust me its not at all, its like 1joule.. Yeah that's the actual way lol). A Computer Science graduate from University Nice, France. Have lived 1/4th of my life in Edinburgh, Scotland where i did my bachelors from. I love "life" and strongly believe in sharing happiness with people, specially the ones I've never met. I have been a loving host to one of the best people i have met, whilst my stay in Edinburgh and even though student halls don't allow me to host people but it wont stop me from doing it once i am outta here.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When for the first time i joined the CS, i was pretty exited. So exited that i ended up accepting all the emergency requests and inviting all the people from the Edinburgh emergency group. I actually hosted 24 people in one month. I hardly had a day without in that month.. Most of the people would think that's crazy, but trust me i really loved it. As I've shifted in non-CS compatible place, I cannot and don't host people now. But if anytime a fellow couchsurfer needs some help, I am always available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosting has been a great experience for me and it would always have place in the book of good memories.
Been hosted twice,once in Manchester and once in Istanbul. Both great hosts and great time spent.

Even though i am acrophobic myself, and i can hardly swim. I did bungee jump on a bridge.
Broke into an old closed movie theatre in the middle of the night, just to explore the spookiness.

PS- I claim to have seen a UFO twice.
