About Me

I am a student from McGill University that is currently studying in Mechanical Engineering to "maybe" create something meaningful that could benefit humanity or a small fraction of it. (I hope)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Same reasons as most people that couch surf: I think travelling should be accessible to as many people as possible and that the best experiences you can acquire come from living with the underground locals of a country.

Interests

I love running, training, playing all kinds of sports (including Quidditch). I sometimes draw and work on overly complicated projects with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am very open to all kinds of music but I must say, I prefer listening to calmer music like Indie or Progressive Rock.

Favorite Movies? I've recently seen Watchmen and I think it was pretty good because it completely disconnects with the other super hero movies by giving you a deeper understanding of each hero and their relation to each other as opposed to just seeing explosions for 2 hours.

I adore the book Quelqu'un d'autre from Tonino Benacquista.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Camino de Santiago in its entirety. Walking 760 km from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port to Santiago de Compostela in 25 days. (in not that good weather and with some injuries that seemed serious at the time, but I made it alive!).

Teach, Learn, Share

I have no idea what to write here, so I guess I'll just share something. When I was in 3rd grade, this author came to talk to us about his book. I bought one and finished reading it 3 days later. The same day, in school, we learned he had passed away that morning. I was very sad because I liked his book and he told us that he planned on writing a lot more in his life. All of this to say: Enjoy the present moment as much as you can. You never know what your last book to humanity will be like.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A lot of places I've discovered around Montreal and my undeniable sense of orientation. I am also a very good guide!

Countries I’ve Visited
