About Me

Hi, my name is Vlad, I'm 19 y.o. I live and study in Kyiv for two years.
I'm really interested in music and I could say that this one of the best things in my life. I've been playing the guitar for just 5 years and the piano for 12 years. I dream about making music and dedicate my life to it.
I came from a small town and always wanted to discover the world. My first point was Kyiv, living here I feel much better but this is not enough for me. One day I'll grab just a few things people need to travel and go around the world, for sure. I like to spend my time drinking coffee and smoking some good cigarettes. Furthermore, visiting new places gives me such a pleasure, that I can share with everyone I met on my way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wanna meet new people, and get in touch with them for a really long time. It's awesome when you can share your experience and knowledge with each other. In addition, I really have something to share. The more people you let to come in your life, the stronger, experienced, clever you become. There are many other features I can get from host or people I live with.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen to Blink-182, Foals, Three Days Grays, Alt-g, Arctic Monkeys, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC (and many others). As you have already understood I like indie-rock and any kind of rock music, some pop, and punk songs. What about films, I have been dreaming for a long time to see some psychological film, that will give lots things to think about and pleasant aftertaste. For now, I enjoy reading some Ukrainian authors such as L'ubka, Andruhovich, and others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd like to teach them how to play the guitar (if they don't know how to play because I'm not really sure if I have enough level to teach other people) because music is one of the best things, that can help you to find the solution in any situation. Another thing I'll probably share with my host is that I've come from a small town (10,000+ people) and I have something to tell about it, especially that it is situated in Ukraine, and people from Europe don't really know (almost everyone) how Ukrainians live in this country. Also, I can cook the best pasta you have ever tasted (carbonara, but if don't eat meat, I'll prepare for you some vegetarian pasta).
