About Me

Serbian by origin. In 2005 moved to Greece, legal resident from 2011.
Santorini was my home from day one, more precisely picturesque village Oia. Recently I moved out of Oia and I live now in Monolithos which is airport area, 5 min walking from the beach, beautiful but a bit isolated and quiet area.
I dont live in tent anymore, I will update my couch photos

Below is my old introduction, writen back in 2009
"
I am a Serbian living in Greece (Santorini - Oia) since 2005. I always wanted to live in some beautiful place, next to the sea and I am happy that I discovered this place!
One of my favorite things to do is to wake up early and go to swim in the deep sea inside the island (caldera). I also love to stay up late into the night watching over the caldera in the dark mixed with stars. The Nights in Oia are so silent and relaxing that you can stay for hours just enjoying that.
I love traveling and meeting new people from around the world. My idea of traveling is to live real life wherever you go.
My friends describe me as generous and honest person. Me?... I am just trying to enjoy a simple life and to live in harmony with myself.
A glass of wine/beer/spliff and good company are always welcome!

PHILOSOPHY

Less philosophy - better life!
but also..
don't be afraid to be different., be aware of your actions, don't be ignorant - think twice & research before you make any conclusion & reject different opinion, be open for new ideas, don't act emotionally but rationally
and ultimately - don't leave your life in others hands!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It has been 13 years since my first CS experience, mainly hosting people. It has been great experience that allowed me to meet so many people with different background, and different life stories. Experience, that gave me new friends and made me understand better the World but also and CS project in practice. People are not the same and experiences are not always what we expect to be. While there are many couchsurfers that gave you back a lot for your couch and hospitality there are always some who don't have understanding for real meaning of couchsurfing and are taking everything for granted. If you want to be hosted than you have to be ready to give something back, and first among it, you should be willing to share your time with your host. No one want to host just because to offer free couch to traveler, just because to help traveler and made his traveling less expensive. Nobody want to be misunderstood for hotel service. Nobody give something for nothing, everybody expect something in return, it is about sharing, giving and receiving.
So and me, I expect from travelers who send to me couch request to first of all read this section and to understand it.
If you want to write me, you can greet me with writting "Namaste" or "420" or in another way let me know that you are human and not copy machine and that you bothered to read mine profile first.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Positive, educational, interesting and life changing

Interests

In life generally, humanity, geopolitics and sound economics, history, nature, traveling...
Harmony, spirituality and oneness are ideals my alienated soul tends to. Life is like a river, if you find the way and overcome the obstacles you may find the ocean aka happiness! My life mission is to learn to live in presence, the threshold of happiness.

Music, Movies, and Books

movies & books: stories with deep personality, true stories, educational books
music: jazz, blues, lounge, electronic, pop, rock, oriental, classic, more less everything that has value

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moving to Greece
Friendship with 2 street dogs Skidi and Koukla
Meeting my now ex wife Inese
Entering the world of Ron Paul
Studding sound economics and history at Ludwig von Mises Institute (mises.org)
and Liberty Classroom (libertyclassroom.org)
Living in spacious tent, on the beach, for 5 months while working and jet still hosting couchsurfers. That was my middle finger to the system and particulary house crisis in Santorini.
Living unusual life
Learning things we supposed not to learn
Doing things we supposed not to do
Experiencing psychedelics (mushrooms).. way to go!
7 days water fasting.. way to go!

Teach, Learn, Share

Everything I can, in both ways, but more precisely, teaching how understanding free market economics leads to better understanding of our rights and our liberties and ultimately - to better understanding world itself and ourselfs!

I am perhaps not an interesting person to people who live superficial life, to who partying and getting drunk is lifestyle, for example.

I may be more interesting to people who are unique in their own unique way, with interest in various things, to nature and garden lovers, life wanderers, to those interested in deeper meaning of life, to dreamers, to those wanting to live different, to curious ones and to those willing to question everyday norms, rules and laws. To rebels, to black sheeps, to children and to those who stay child forever. To people who care for others and to those who are willing to learn and who care for truth.

I also dare to say that humanity need psychodelics more than ever!
As Terence McKenna said:
"Psychodelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of third story window.
Psychodelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behaviour and information processing.
They open you up to the possibility that evertyhing you know is wrong."
