About Me

The ordinary thin, tall guy, don't talk so much, glad to listen to somebody, to listen to music/audiobooks all day long, to be present at the moment. Careless enough, don't panic. I'm okay being on my own. I like slow city walking, cacao, ambient music in evenings, candles, nice smells, old movies. You don't have to talk to me to entertain me. I'm okay with calmness, with cooking, being in the present moment. Vegetarian, meditation lover, poetry writer, musician (Ableton, guitar, keys), a jamming supporter. I love books. I always take street photos when on a trip, finding some obscure and weird moments. I love alternative medicine, psychology, esoteric.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I need an insider view to use the REAL (not these obvious touristic) benefits of city
I wanna feel like I'm home when traveling. You know, there's sometimes a feeling of being alien, when being in a big city. Along to go sightseeing I need some comfort and live human experience. I love people.

Interests

I'm a DIY fellow, I live in a country house, make a fire every day/make meals on fire, bring water and use clay to repair the house. I like soldering/small repairing/building some DIY furniture. Enjoy playing exotic/weird musical instruments. I can write/record/release song fastly if needed. I like being free and independent, though, you can ask me for any help around the house. I don't have bad habits like alcohol, drugs or smoking. At the same time, I don't complain if somebody does. I love art museums, excursions, small cozy parties, nice sounding stereo systems, record collections, home libraries. I love getting advice on music, listening to music nerds and every human who can get surprised by art/human/nature etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One night in February I've had a dream that my favorite Swedish band The Embassy came to Kyiv and we hung out in the club Closer. I was amazed and decided to write them in a few days. I've invited them to play in Kyiv. They answered me and agreed to take a flight to Kyiv and play a show! Later in July I've met them in the airport and we had the best 3 days of a fun time: city walking, exhibitions, radio show, concert, afterparty, and the family dinner. It left me absolutely empty after they left. Amazing experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach to make music, give advice on gear or instruments/recording, to make some home DIY projects. I can listen an be a psychologist, advice some moments of spiritual/alternative medicine/meditation/yoga etc.
I'd like to learn more about being myself, so communication is a sort of mirror to recognize my inner things to do.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to make a home DJ-set, to cook my recipe for pizza Margarita or maybe some traditional Ukrainian dishes.
I feel comfortable to buy some food during my stay. Also, I don't mind to help cleaning the house.
Besides help, I can share my life experience, tell stories or just be a listener.
