Some facts about me:
I'm linguist who had his qualification work on a Pun-cartoon 'Symphony in Slang' (and another concerning etymology of names in Harry Potter series)
I have been living in Saint-Petersburg and working there at a Scientific Research Institute for 3 years.
I like soccer, especially when a team losing 0:3 gets back to 3:3 in last 10 minutes and finishes off with 4:3 on a last minute.
I played tons of ps, ps2 games, mostly rpgs and bullethells.
I am also a teacher of english, can teach russian.
Im fond of kanjis.
I like composing new ideas from whatever experience i get across.
Recently i started photoshopping and doing photos.
I have served in russian military ('cause most people surf a year around the world after uni, and in soviet russia you serve a year).
Anyway, feel free to ask any open-minded (that word is surely lovable on cs) questions ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Most of my life I was busy studying, reading books or doing some other things.
Now I am attempting to get back that experience and start with solo eurotrip.
It would both cheaper on money and richer in experience if I get to stop at someone's place to share what I know and learn what you know.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like metal, rock and classical compositions the most. But I do like other genres as well
For example, Helloween, Nuclear Blast, WASP, Galneryus, HammerFall, Tiamat, Disturbed, Hans Zimmer, Chaikovsky, Rakhmaninov, Grig, Paganini, Verdi, Bob Dylan, Malukah, Ludovico Einaudi and so on

Movies I reawlly like: The Last Samurai, The Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump, Inception, Fight Club, Knocking on Heaven's Door, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter series

I like to read a lot and these are the best I read so far: Flowers for Algernon, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Lord of Flies, The Government Inspector, Oblomov, The Golden Calf, Master and Margarita, 1984, We, Crime and Punishment, Brave New World

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learning Japanese just for 1 year and trying to pass N1.
