About Me

I spent most of my life in my home town - Volgograd, but 3 years ago I decided to move to Saint Petersburg. It happened to be a right decision after all, although sometimes I miss certain things left behind, such as my dogs. I spent most of my life with them, so you can say I was raised by dogs, at least on 25%. Nowadays I'm going to irish dance courses and learn french. I work in the hotel in the very centre of Saint-Petersburg. It's tiring job, but I gotta admit it's very interesting sometimes.
I don't smoke and when I drink I do it responsibly. Mostly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not too experienced traveller myself, recently I came to the idea I should do something with the lack of travel in my life, so now I'm here.

Music, Movies, and Books

My musical taste stuck around the middle of the XX century. Queen is my biggest musical love, though sometimes I cheat on them with Scorpions, Black Sabbath, Beatles and others. Besides, I enjoy listening songs from musicals, sometimes classic.
Movies. Generally I agree with top 20 positions of imdb, surely I would make some changes there, but it isn't bad.
Books. It's hard to tell, cause I read a lot and it's difficult to decide which book is my favourite. I think I tend to ski-fi like Bradbury or Lem but it's definately not the ski-fi part I like about them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mom told me it is bad to brag. But well, one day I swam over the Volga river. It's more them 1km wide, so it's quite a distance.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am not too talkative when I'm sober, but after a pint of beer I can tell you a lot of stories.
