Hello!

I am originally from Kaliningrad(Koenigsberg), Russia, but I've lived in Toronto for the last 11 years.
I am optimistic, always looking for the best in everyone and everything. I believe in the power of positive thinking and I apply it all the time. Love to see smiles on people faces. Like everyone else here, I love making new friends, and learning about different cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is my first time using couchserfing. I have found out about CS just recently and was very excited that something like this exists, but at the same time sad that I did not know about it before, my two couches at home were often too lonely.

Interests

Open minded, positive, and always down to do anything. I believe in good virtues and respect.
I like experimenting and trying out new things, going beyond the known and expanding the horizon; not letting any opportunities slip away.
Some of the things I enjoy are history, philosophy, playing guitar, meditation, rock climbing, snowboarding, camping and many more.

I can teach you how to do light shows with glowsticks (will be bringing some with me), or how to cook potatoes Russian style with Canadian style pork chops, or how to make a smoke bomb using saltpetre and piece of newspaper. I like talking about such topics as history, politics, science, spiritual teachings and religions, tourism and anything that is interesting
