ABOUT ME

I'm working with Americorps and learning how to play mandolin on the side. One day I hope to hike the Appalachian Trail, know how to pick out a good bottle of wine, and be able to remember more than 10 constellations.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I lived and studied abroad for a year in Nijmegen, Netherlands and was lucky enough to travel to many other countries where people were very generous with their time and space. It was a great way to travel because I got a real taste of the community rather than wander aimlessly like the other tourists.

I think CS is great because both the surfer and couch provider benefit as we get to meet new people and feel a little more connected to the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm travelling to CO at the moment, but once I get settled, I plan sharing in the generous spirit upon which CS is built.

兴趣

I'm a recently graduated English major, so, I enjoy books, poetry, and doing some writing of my own. I have fun cooking and baking - everything from Thai food to good ol' carrot cake. Being outside is important - I love hiking/backpacking, canoeing, biking around, and playing in the dirt (by way of planting).
