ABOUT ME

Kiev-born, attended an International School for 10 years in Prague and now coming into my 5th year of living in London -- I'm one of those "I don't really have a national identity" internationals. Always happy to meet people from all around the world as I tend to get on best with those that are either well-travelled or have international living experience (there's just something about us ;)). I'd like to think I'm pretty chill, although I do enjoy good nights out given the right company. My weaknesses are good food (love to cook) and good wine (and other forms of booze, obvs). I also love all forms of the arts, especially music and photography, have an obsession with going to the movies and discovering new places in London.

I'm a CS n00b so I hope to start to participate soon! Up for grabbing drinks for anyone living/visiting London, and hopefully will be able to host people soon as well.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Moonrise Kingdom, Blue Valentine, The Darjeeling Limited, Lost in Translation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, A Single Man, Fantastic Mr. Fox... there's lots, I love movies.

Music -- love electronica, indie, and all sorts of stuff really (Hype Machine is a Godsend for discovering new music!) Currently really digging Flight Facilities, Purity Ring, Twin Shadow, Star Slinger, M83 and A$AP.

TV -- huge fan of Mad Men and Breaking Bad.

Books -- the Russian classics (Dostoyevsky, Nabokov, Bulkagov), everything by JD Salinger, The Great Gatsby by Fitzgerald and have recently been enjoying Murakami, having read Norwegian Wood and Kafka on the Shore.
