Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to do both - surfing and hosting as well. Looking forward to meeting new people, showing surfers the beauties of my country.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have surfed twice in Wales. It was completely perfect. Enjoyed the time there. Hosts were so lovely. The most significant experience was when people all around the world (USA, Japan, Czech Rep., Germany, GB) were sitting together eating dinner and talking about everything.

Interests

I love sports. I've played ice hockey for 13 years and have just started with frisbee ultimate - love it. Hope to play ultimate with guys from foreign countries.

I’m also interested in science (physics, astronomy), movies, music, and books.

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIES:
My favorite movies are the Lord of the Rings trilogy, then comedies, sci-fi, adventure movies, cartoon.

MUSIC:
I like all kinds of music. It depends on a mood, but I prefer alternative rock and electro.

BOOKS:
I enjoy reading a good sci-fi and fantasy (Isaac Asimov, J.R.R. Tolkien, G. R. R. Martin) and also detective and crime/thriller stories — e.g., Peter May’s novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saved a pedestrian's life. Then it turned out that the person lived in same building as I did - and what was even more strange, he didn't remembered me at all :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share everything I know about my home country, the Czech Republic, and a lot of stuff about artificial intelligence and robots. If interested, I’m happy to express my opinion about anything. And if I don’t have one, don’t worry, I’ll make it quickly up. :)
