Overview
About Me
Oh no, describe myself.. Maybe some keywords: Open-minded (like everyone else in our community), amusing (at least some people say so), relaxed, sincere, warmhearted. I like to make people feel comfortable.
"Philosophy": Life isn't about being cool or stylish - it's about being yourself!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Give and receive hospitality.
It's so great when you come to a foreign city and you know someone is waiting for you.
And Couchsurfing allows me to feel the spirit of travelling while leading my ordinary life..
Interests
A bit of everything: Football, Literature (Kafka!), Trains, Languages, Nature, Yoga, Walking barefooted
Oh yes, and I forgot to mention: Travelling!
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Stiller (Max Frisch), Der Proceß (Franz Kafka)
Movies: Dogville, Das Leben der Anderen
Series:
I was very fascinated by watching the deeds of Walter H. White. Some dialogues and monologues of Breaking Bad lead a life of their own in my head.
Another character I'm fascinated by is Dr. Dr. Sheldon Cooper. (He and me, we share the passion for trains, but not the Asperger syndrom.) I can't get enough of him and his mates in The Big Bang Theory.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The best football match I have ever seen at the stadium:
SV Werder Bremen - VfB Lübeck 3:2 after overtime.
(semi-final of the "DFB-Pokal", 16 March 2004)
