ABOUT ME

We're a fun-loving young couple. We love traveling, We've been all over the US, to Canada, to Europe, the Caribbean twice, and South America. We also love hiking, watching live music, meeting new people, and learning new things.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life slowly (my wife just says I'm slow!) I don't hurry through things and I take my time to enjoy living. I work to live rather living to work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In what? I participated last week in a traditional Alsacien festival in our town. I organized a music show for the last 3 years with local bands from my college town. I was in an African dance and drumming ensemble for a year in college. For three months I was my baby niece's nanny!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've been lucky enough to stay with a few different amazing people in Scotland. The experience was absolutely wonderful, to say the least. We were treated as friends, fed homemade food, and taken out to a really cool and unique CS soirée! Can't wait to do it again in the future!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking Cajas National Park in Ecuador was amazing. While I was teaching English there, my colleagues and I hiked in the mountains past lakes and cliffs and through valleys. I can't describe it, it's too beautiful.

Teach, Learn, Share

Need your computer updated while I stay on your couch? Great! I can do that. Need something fixed around the house? I can probably do that! Aside from my handyman skills, I think I'm fun to talk to and I'm always interested in meeting new people. Leah teaches English, so she could tutor you. She also has mad dancing skills :)
