I'm open minded and love having a good chat with people from different cultural/ethnic backgrounds. Love to travel (duh...), and crazy about food:) I never say no to a new cuisine, ever, everything must be tried once and more often than not I come back for more

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in awed just recently riding a scooter through a rural area in Vietnam. The rice fields that we passed through was simply gorgeous. The color, the space, the scent all combined and made up a wonderful sensation. You can travel the world and still haven't seen things in your backyard, that was my thought. And I'm working to get that fixed, seeing as much of my "backyard" as I could!
My second best experience was finding Beer-flavored Ice Cream in Laos. (Yes, beer-flavored you read that right) We were lost and just wandered around the streets of Luang Prabang and we found the shop. So there wasn't any good review for us to count on. The fact that it sounded so weird and tasted so good make it extra exciting:) I just wished I had remembered the place's name and location to come back. I know my hopeless sense of direction though:P

I'm always inspired by other travelers, what you see and what you learn on the road.
Love to learn from others who work or volunteer for a good cause (in non-profit, charity, etc. )
Love Japanese culture and food. Studied a bit of Japanese myself, I do love to hear about any experience you might have about Japan
