About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Doing something positive with my life

ABOUT ME

I'm an open-minded, diverse interested guy, who currently is working on his diploma in cartography. Although the world is surveyed in its entirety, I would like to see the beauty of our world with my own eyes.

Some people say, I'm a really nice guy. ;) ... a friend you can trust, hang out with and have fun. I'm not the extroverted "party animal", but I enjoy to go out and grab a drink (or two) and meeting interesting, cool people.

PHILOSOPHY

From my point of view, the meaning of life is living and doing things, that make me happy. I know, that's a common phrase, but for me it works ... at least theoretical. ;)

For my personal growth, it is important to find me challenges. I rarely go the path of least resistance, which is not always an advantage for me (I don't know, if the expressions are right, but feel free to ask me, if you don't know what it means ... thx du google translate btw :P)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a very small appartement without a bathroom door and my couch is comfortable only for very short people (< 150 cm). ;)
Besides I'm very busy now so I can only offer you my tour guide skills. Unfortunately I guess, that many visitors are more familiar with historic old town and the historical backgrounds of Vienna than I am, but I know some nice places for eating, getting a drink or simply hanging out. So feel free to ask me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No experience at all. I would like to meet and stay with local people, because I think in this way I'm able to learn more about the country and culture as from the tourist view.

Interests

Music (listening, making). Writing rhymes. Learning new languages (actually: french). Cooking. Eating.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a passion for hip hop, especially for German and French rap, although I don't speak french.
Generally I love to be touched and moved by music, it´s an important part of my life. It could be jazz, dnb, punk rock, classical music or fado. Musically I've really been through a lot.

I love watching movies, my favorites are ghost dog, la haine and adams äpfel ... and some movies with kad merad, dany boon and josef hader.

books: kurkow, bukowski, boyle, houellebecq, I'd say. Oh ... and I love books by wolf haas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A flight to Paris with John Malkovich ... fortunately not to Las Vegas! ;) ... just kidding ... maybe seeing the ocean for the first time or writing the first song, I really liked.

Teach, Learn, Share

Maybe I can teach you some wing chun-moves, even tough I know only the basics.
Hm ... I can tell you some expressions in viennese or lower austrian dialect, but I don't know, if it helps you hehe

I'd love to learn new languages or improve those, I already speak, to try cooking recipes or listening to music, I didn't know previously.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Mauritius, Poland, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
