Interests

Psychology is my wife, and Philosophy is my mistress. I have an open relationship with both; they do not mind. Please don't judge me ;). I play basketball and love to watch it. I read alot. And movies are my passion. I'm usually at the theater a couple of times throughout the week. I also write screenplays. I love the performing arts as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Godfather (All Three), Good Will Hunting, V for Vendetta, Blue Valentine, my recent addition: Raid Redemption, Black Swan.

Music: Soul Music, Jazz, anything slow - for the most part. I'm pretty open musically. I love Evanescence.

Books: Black Bodies White Gazes, Little Prince, How I became stupid, Owning your own shadow

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a very memorable experience when I went to the inauguration of President Obama. Sleeping on the Mall overnight, in the cold, on cardboard boxes, with an excellent group of friends was/is an everlasting experience in my psyche.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach Philosophy. Specifically, critical race theory, philosophy of race, whiteness studies, Black existentialism, political philosophy, and the philosophy of God and Religion.
