ABOUT ME

I'm a teacher, but I enjoy learning just as much. When I first meet someone, I find it easier to ask questions than talk about myself. And I do want to get to know them! I'd say I'm inquisitive and curious about life. I don't mind making mistakes as long as nobody is hurt in the process, it allows me the opportunity to improve. I love to try new things, to face my fears (as long as it doesn't involve skydiving), and to have my preconceptions challenged. It's one of the reasons that traveling is so appealing to me!

Give your best to others without being a people pleaser. I'm in the process of learning this.

Interessi

As I said, I love to try to new things. I can be crafty as I like to knit, sew and paint occasionally. I love getting outdoors to hike, bike and camp. Volunteering is a big part of my life, I lead a small volunteer organization that's all about self-love, caring for the earth, and sharing joy with others. This involves monthly sing-alongs at senior homes. Did you know that singing improves your health? Even if you don't think you have skills, it's still good for ya. :)

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

When I was 10 years old, I got to explore an ice cave in Switzerland. I have a pic of me beside a block of ice with a small evergreen tree growing out of it. I thought it was amazing then and I still do!

My friend and I were traveling through a jungle in Peru by taxi and our car was stopped by guerrillas. It's a moment I'll never forget, I still catch my breath when I think about it!
