ABOUT ME

I am a fun outgoing guy. You can ask me anything or tell me anything and I will not make you feel as if you should not have asked. My family raised me with openness and I didn't know it was a rare thing until I got older.
I think I am a people pleaser. I will stop a chore to spend time with a friend who has stopped by to visit. Since I am interested in most everything, I find out what you like and then share what I know about that topic with you.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to always treat people with decency & respect and to leave them wanting to see you again. When they see me coming, I want them to say Yay! Here comes William! not Doh! Here comes that William guy.

I just do! I am a participant in most everything. If there were more hours in the day I would participate in much more!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfing is a new concept for me. I just recently heard about it from a friend in Europe. What better way to meet people from all over short of going on the trip yourself?!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love science fiction in the form of books, movies, and technology. I always defend that from critics by saying I live reality. Let me escape every once in a while! My favorite movies have been comedies or sci-fi. The Matrix was a mind blowing science fiction movie! Fight Club was harsh/crazy/fun! My all time favorite comedy is a tie between Auntie Mame(vintage Rosalin Russel) and Clueless(vintage Alicia Silverstone) Yeah, The Hangover was fun, but only if you watch it with a bunch of people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow! I have done so much, I can't pick one! I must list them until I run out of room! Body surfed Huntington Beach, CA (almost drowned LOL) I have flown a jet plane. I have been interviewed on local news for my gardens. I have traveled 3000 miles only to run into my next door neighbor from home in a shopping mall. Have been stuck in quicksand. Still have friends from when I was 12 years old! My family title went from Brother to Uncle and didn't have to do anything! I have traveled Europe with my best friend. Driven over 200 Mph on the Autobahn--in a Mercedes of course! Snorkeled in barracuda infested waters in Cancun. Rafted the American River over 50 times. I have planted trees from seeds. The trees now tower over my head! I have joined Couch Surfing!

Teach, Learn, Share

My previous job was Kindergarten teacher. Now I work for local government. I live on a small farm. I grow my own vegetables and fruit trees. I tend chickens and collect their eggs. I cook in the house and work with wood in the garage. There is a lot to know and I love sharing what I know.
