About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

Life is a state of mind

PHILOSOPHY

Live, love and learn.

I'm currently working as a part-time night receptionist at a hotel not far from my house, as an emergency cartographer for humanitarian / environmental crisises and graduating in geography and territorial sciences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting / Meeting / Being hosted
Basically: sharing. It fills your heart and mind.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since August 2010, I hosted in Turin and couchsurfed in Italy, Sweden, Denmark, France, Germany and Finland.

A totally remarkable and enjoyable experience.

Interests

Music, lifeforms, plants, fungi, swimming, sex, acting, joking, meeting, greeting, hugging, wandering around.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the music store: anything that's not too noisy without proper artistic reasons.
At the cinema: anything that's a little distant from the mainstream will do the trick. No overdubs!
At the library: funny. With feeling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Travelled alone for a whole day in the suburbs of Lisbon under the hot sun, heavy bag on my back, my love in mind, my shoes exploding, taking hundreds of photos and making thousands ofmemories. Loved it.
- In Dublin, around Christmas, being part of a whole big pub/dancefloor in the city centre singing along and dancing together with a hundred ofpeople to "Fairytale of New York" by The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl
- In Stockholm, being hosted in basement by a CouchSurfer, we got out to steal apples from apple trees in other people's backyard.
- In Rossano, making a geomorphological map of a big area near the Ottura stream, getting into locals' private properties, being chased away by either farmers or pack of dogs.
Since I started living abroad in 2012 life has become a long and surprising journey filled with beautifully diverse people and my ever-changing mindset.
