ABOUT ME

I'm a 21 year old woman, born and raised in the United States. I've taken a couple years of French, and I spent my first solo-travel time in Paris last summer. I haven't traveled nearly as much as I'd like, but I love being out there so I'm doing what I can. I also have an absolute love of international politics, and global feminism. I'm a women's studies and political science double major, so that probably has something to do with it.

I'm a women's studies major, something that people outside the US aren't always too familiar with. It's not just sociology, it's politics and psychology and biology and history and pretty much any discipline you can think of. The one major thing I strive to do is to help people realize how gender affects their every day lives. To do that, here are some quick definitions:

Sex- biological reproductive organs
Gender- social construction of what it means to be a man or a woman
Psychological Gender- what you feel you are, regardless of biological sex
