Hi! I'm Willie. I'm from Boston originally studying in upstate New York and currently taking time away from my studies to travel. I study art and film history but am generally interested in most things. I like reading, old buildings, industrial infrastructure and a bunch of other stuff. I've been learning a lot traveling and always down to learn some more!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently traveling around Europe and have found that walking around a cool city only goes so far, and that to have real cultural experiences and exchange it really helps to spend time with someone who lives there. It's a beautiful thing to be able to meet and connect with people from around the world and be able to share experiences and culture! It's a better way to travel, to connect with real people and skip the commercial trap of tourism

Love a lot of music from Björk to the Cure to Neil young... Generally openminded

Love to read, fine literature and pulp fiction it all has it's merits. I am a sucker for most fantasy books, mysteries too. Calvino, Dineson, murakami, Jeanette winterson are some of my favorite authors

I like a lot of movies and directors... rivette and almodovar are amazing, also mizoguchi and Kurosawa, tarkovsky. But also good old Lord of the Rings, Blade Runner, Chinatown, old movies, new movies, So many!
