About Stephen: "I was born and raised in Canada, did grad studies in the USA, lived in Japan, China, Vietnam, South Korea. I love the outdoors, dancing, playing music, sports, and spending time with friends."

About Thao: "I love friends, dancing, learning about culture, and eating new foods. I studied architecture but don't enjoy office work. Now I'm finding my way in the world!"

We have a 13-year-old son who enjoys judo, video games, anime, mangas, and meeting other kids!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Stephen has hosted a few times, in Japan. When we surf, we always try to contribute something for my hosts, whether it's cooking, cleaning, groceries, etc. Stephen has used this site for a few years now and had countless memorable experiences and developed fantastic friends through it.

Stephen's first couchsurfing experience was in Wroclaw, Poland, with amazingly friendly and generous people. From then on, he was hooked! He loves the concept of this site and wishes it could be expanded to other areas of society as well.
