ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Wade. I'm from the US but right now I live in Japan. I'm an English teacher and I usually work in the mornings during the weekday. I'm interested in making friends from all over the world.

Interests

Most of the time I'm out joining cultural exchange circles or rocking out with my band. I love studying Japanese and playing guitar. On the weekends, I have a tendency to go out drinking with my friends in Sendai.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I had to choose two awestruck moments in my life. One of them would be the day I realized that I could communicate proficiently in Japanese without the need of a dictionary. I never imagined that knowing a second language would open up my door to the rest of the world the way it did. I have met so many great, kind, and wonderful people since then. The other moment is when my band entered a Battle of the Bands competition and we got the chance to play on a stage that bands such as, Green Day, The Foo Fighter, The Pillows, and many other bands got to play on. First time in my life I felt like a real rock star.
