Born in Indiana, US, I grew up in Taiwan and had moved to LA since 21. Since young I had spent years living in the US, Taiwan and Australia, which encouraged me to travel as part of my life.
Started as a photographer, now Im studying filmmaking in UCLA. Other than traveling, I enjoy playing music and learning from different cultures as I venture through different places, meeting people from diverse backgrounds.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling is an important part of my upbringing and life. I believe the best way to learn and experience different cultures is by getting to know the locals. Submerging myself in local communities where I travel has always inspired me. Therefore, I hope to continue to make new friends on the way and share my experience.

Interests

I play the piano and violin. Music is always a medium of how I meet friends. Apart form filmmaking, I practice traditional black and white photography.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once worked as a jackaroo in Outback Australia mustering wild animals and livestock with helicopters.
