I believe that the mundane day-to-day routine kills creativity, and nurtures apathy. My mission is to experience life so I don't one day question what I've done with my time alive.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Still new to couchsurfing so my experience is limited to meeting travellers hosted by friends.

Interests

Spending time outdoors doing just about anything such as: Ultimate Frisbee, snowboarding, camping, hockey, hiking, to name a few. I also enjoy music - making it, listening to it, discussing it, etc. I also enjoy watching movies, play board games and playing video games.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer Americana and singer/songwriter music such as Dawes, Laura Marling and M. Ward to name a few, but I enjoy most genres.
I generally don't care for horror movies, but can usually find entertainment in any other genre. My personal favorite are historical dramas. I find I often don't have the patience to sit down to read, but on long drives I do like to listen to audio books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Few things are more amazing than being miles away from civilization and looking up at the night sky!

I want to learn; whether it is a new skill, or a greater appreciation for the world around me. I'm willing to teach as much as I can to anyone who wants to learn what I have to share.
