Return to Academia ... Studying in Leicester

ABOUT ME

I'm an on-and-off archaeologist cruising around the world digging holes, and then running away from the responsibilities of settled life by travelling to wherever strikes my fancy. I recently got into cycle touring, so now I'm itching to get back on the bike. Everybody has a story to tell, and I want to hear them all.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to meet people, so when I can, I offer my couch, and am happy to have you around for a drink or dinner.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met a few CSers while in Cairo, have enjoyed the hospitality of a few lovely hosts in Leicester, and have hosted a couple of people myself.
CS is a wonderful concept, and I'd love to be more involved.

I spend most of my time reading, wandering randomly around the landscape (often pretending I'm not completely lost even when I am), and people-watching.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I got to drive a 70-ton truck in Sudan, shot a machine gun (owned by a cop) in Ethiopia, cycled through northern Europe - and still feel I haven't really done very much. More travels needed!
