I'm a big fan of history, local cultures, and regional languages. I love hunting for hidden gems and street food wherever I go! To keep the memories alive, I'm always into photography and videography. Even though I live just 2 hours away from the hustle and bustle of Jakarta, my place is quite peaceful and green—I really enjoy taking chill walks around my village to soak in the local vibe.

Ich interessiere mich total für Geschichte, Kultur und lokale Dialekte. Außerdem liebe ich es, mich durch das Street-Food-Angebot zu probieren! Meine Erlebnisse halte ich am liebsten mit Fotos und Videos fest. Obwohl ich nur zwei Stunden von Jakarta entfernt wohne, ist es bei mir noch richtig schön grün und ländlich. Ich liebe entspannte Spaziergänge durch mein Dorf, um einfach mal abzuschalten.

I’m deeply into traditional Indonesian music, especially Javanese Tembang and Dangdut (thanks to my Javanese roots!). While many young people here might find them boring or 'old school,' I find them soulful and would love to share my favorite tracks with you.
When it comes to movies, I’m a big fan of documentaries, historical archives, and films with strong cultural themes—like Bumi Manusia. I also follow cultural and historical podcasts, like Om Hao.
My bookshelf is mostly filled with history books, specifically about the Dutch colonial era in Indonesia. If you're interested, I can show you some of them!

Ich liebe traditionelle indonesische Musik, besonders javanische Tembang und Dangdut (da ich javanische Wurzeln habe). Während viele junge Leute hier das vielleicht langweilig oder altmodisch finden, liebe ich den Vibe und würde dir gerne meine Lieblingslieder vorspielen.
Was Filme angeht, bin ich ein großer Fan von Dokumentationen, historischen Archiven und Filmen mit kulturellen Themen – wie zum Beispiel Bumi Manusia. Ich höre auch gerne Podcasts über Kultur und Geschichte, wie den von Om Hao.
Außerdem lese ich gerne Bücher über Geschichte, vor allem über die niederländische Kolonialzeit in Indonesien. Wenn du magst, kann ich dir gerne einige davon zeigen!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One amazing thing I’ve experienced is attending a Catholic Mass with Betawi and Javanese inculturation. It was deeply moving to see how local traditions and traditional music were woven into the sacred rituals—it showed me how beautiful cultural harmony can be.
​I’ve also spent a lot of time exploring 'Gedung Juang 45' in Bekasi, where I dived deep into the history of the colonial era and the birth of my hometown. Besides that, I love attending traditional wedding parties here. They are grand, vibrant, and full of complex rituals that serve as a 'living museum' for me to learn more about Indonesia's rich heritage.

Etwas wirklich Beeindruckendes für mich war die Teilnahme an einer katholischen Messe mit betawinesischer und javanischer Inkulturation. Es war sehr berührend zu sehen, wie lokale Traditionen und Musik in die heiligen Rituale eingeflossen sind – für mich ein wunderschönes Beispiel für kulturelle Harmonie.
​Außerdem habe ich viel Zeit im 'Gedung Juang 45' in Bekasi verbracht, um tief in die Kolonialgeschichte und die Entstehung meiner Heimatstadt einzutauchen. Abgesehen davon liebe ich es, traditionelle Hochzeiten hier zu besuchen. Sie sind prächtig, lebendig und voller komplexer Rituale, die für mich wie ein 'lebendiges Museum' sind, in dem ich die reiche Kultur Indonesiens hautnah erleben kann.

I’d be happy to show you around and give you a glimpse of how the locals (we call them 'warlok'!) live their daily lives. We can hop on a motorbike and ride through rice fields, small villages, and spots you definitely won’t find in Jakarta or your home country!
I’d love for us to practice German and Indonesian together—with a bit of English to fill the gaps. I can teach you everyday Indonesian, slang words, or even some 'Basa Tambun'! Fun fact: my village has its own local dialect called Basa Tambun, and I can teach you some easy vocabulary.
I’m also happy to offer a place to stay. In our culture, especially in the Betawi tribe, guests are highly respected and treated like royalty. You're more than welcome here!

Ich kann dir gerne meine Stadt zeigen und dir einen Einblick in das Alltagsleben der Einheimischen (wir nennen sie 'warlok') geben. Wir können mit dem Moped durch Reisfelder und Dörfer fahren – Orte, die du in Jakarta oder in deiner Heimat sicher nicht finden wirst!
Ich fände es toll, wenn wir uns auf Deutsch und Indonesisch unterhalten könnten, und ein bisschen Englisch, falls uns mal die Worte fehlen. Ich bringe dir gerne Alltags-Indonesisch, Slang und sogar etwas 'Basa Tambun' bei! Mein Dorf hat nämlich seinen eigenen Dialekt, und ich kann dir ein paar einfache Wörter beibringen.
Außerdem biete ich gerne einen Schlafplatz an. In unserer Kultur, besonders beim Stamm der Betawi, werden Gäste sehr geschätzt und respektiert. Das ist ein wichtiger Teil unserer Tradition!
