ABOUT ME

i love art, nature, music, literature,plants, expressing myself, learning and lots of other things. i love to hike and be outside. i try to stay open minded. this smart greek guy once said,"the more i learn, the more i realize that i know nothing at all."
i love to travel. the best part of traveling is meeting people, and seeing that what I am used to is not the only thing, it's not the only way to live. there are many ways to be human.

PHILOSOPHY

the golden rule you know. i appreciate curiousity. i appreciate human relationships in which we can co-exist peacefully and grow together. Ubuntu, what denigrates you denigrates me; what lifts you up, lifts me. i like to have all types of experiences so as to learn from them. the most beautiful trees in a forest are the ones that have to struggle to survive. if buddha had never left the comforts of his palace, he never would have seen suffering and he wouldn't have attained nirvana.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

couchsurfing hooked my friend Beline and I up with this great guy, Medhat, in Egypt and he took us on this great adventure riding horses in the desert, the first night that we got there. I want to participate in the couchsurfing community because community is one of the greatest deficits in this modern culture. When the opportunity arrives that I can host surfers, it will be joyous.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

without couchsurfing egypt would have been a totally different experience. egypt is incredible, without our couchsurfing friends, i would have been even more confused about everything.
