About Me

CURRENT MISSION

laughter, friendship, and music that grabs you at the cockles.

ABOUT ME

After looking at a few couch surfing profiles, it appears to be a pre-requisite to mention how 'open-minded' one is.

So here goes...

I'm a fan of 'IT Crowd' (do yourself a favour and youtube 'Work Outing' episode, open-mindedly), I value open-minded laughter; stories from open-minded strangers; feeling challenged open-mindedly; I enjoy a good, open-minded run in the morning and open-minded hugs from mates.

Yesterday I was waiting for a train and got to talking to an Aboriginal lady who believed she met David Bowie 15 years a go on a property in the middle of Australia. She says he was shooting a music video, but couldn't remember the name of the song. What she did remember were the red shoes her cousin had to wear, the 50 bucks she received and the 30 or so cases of beer the community drank on Bowie's tab. I youtubed the videoclip with the red Shoes and, sure enough, it exists - some may know it as 'Lets dance', Bowie's fastest selling single to date. 50 bucks and a couple of beers on a millionaire's TAB; nice one Bowie.
