I grew up in Southern California and started traveling internationally when I was in high school. My first trip was a 7 week backpacking trip to England, France, Germany, Switzerland, Greece and Italy. I will always be an explorer. More and more I find myself traveling with a purpose. I recently had the opportunity to serve as a nurse in Kyrgyzstan and hopefully, will be able to do the same in China this year.
Aside from traveling, I love being outdoors and enjoy hiking, biking, SCUBA, kayaking, snorkeling, boulder hopping, white water rafting, snowboarding...
I enjoy learning about health, and especially gravitate towards learning about alternative medicine. I appreciate how, many times, it doesn't take a lot of technology to help heal someone.
I'm a Christian but I'm interested hearing about how other people practice their spirituality.
I love to dance.
so much could be said here but most important...
I love that Jesus attracts so much attention. No one else in history has made so great an impact on the world. Even thousands of years after he walked the earth, Jesus continues to evoke so much emotion, debate, offense, question, attention, and appeal. His claims were outrageous and I admit, the gospel sounds absurd, yet I find myself chasing Truth and embracing the evidence of His resurrection. Many scholars, once vehemently opposed to His deity, have tried to disprove the resurrection yet through the process, they became followers of Christ because of the overwhelming evidence that He rose from the dead. He is either Lord, a liar or a lunatic. Historical & archeological evidence supports His lordship.
