关于我
CURRENT MISSION
To meet engaging people as I wander through Europe this summer between Barcelona, Paris, Florence, Venice, Berlin, and Prague.
ABOUT ME
Hello! My name's Walker - I'm named after a river in California. I am a young and adventurous person who is passionate about wild nature, making art and theatre that changes society, and meeting people with new stories to share. I am queer and proud, and always interested in meeting folks who have taken their own unique path in terms of gender or sexuality. Although I was raised male, I consider myself a more feminine person and think that gender is a huge social construct, although it *is* fun to play with!
I traveled extensively with my family when I was younger, and am excited to be finally setting out to explore the world on my own and with friends, spending as little money as possible, and meeting people who make me reconsider what I think about the world! Maybe you'll be one of them!
I love to perform on stage, play guitar, take hikes in the city and in the woods, and go dancing. I consider myself an anarchist, although not one of those self-righteous, male anarchists who think they know better than everyone else, so I am always excited to meet people who are engaged in resisting capitalism and making positive change in their communities.
PHILOSOPHY
In order to make a new cup of tea, you have to empty out the old tea leaves. Don't carry too much baggage, literal or figurative, with you when you travel.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am currently unable to host, as I do not have a permanent place of residence, but I am looking for people to stay with while I travel around Europe this summer with my girlfriend, Alanna (https://www.couchsurfing.org/people/alanna-lynn/). We are both very amicable, very good at listening, and want to make lifelong friends—not just find a place to crash!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
While I have never had the opportunity to host couchsurfers myself (I have been stuck in university housing for the last four years!), I have met many wonderful travelers through my girlfriend Alanna, who hosts regularly. A couple summers ago, I was traveling throughout the western United States, working on farms and visiting intentional communities, and I had the opportunities to couchsurf with a lovely couple in the Northern California town of Arcata during the Oyster Festival. They were very kind, had many thrilling stories to tell, and let me and my friends camp out in their back yard. It was a beautiful few days that I hope to recreate now that I am traveling and couchsurfing again!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情
I once slept in an abandoned watchtower atop a crumbling, tree-clothed section of the Great Wall of China, in total disregard of the law.
