I'm always curious. As a child I wanted to see the places from the books. It seemed to me something possible to do and as adult I started traveling. I've been in more than 45 countries so far and I have, of course, a lot of good stories to tell. I did many times volunteering, couchsurfing (mostly of the times with locals that I met in the places), bicycle trips, travel journalism, photography and edited a travel book of one of my travels. I recently got married with Margarida, a portuguese woman, and now we are in a couple discovering the world. We gonna settle down now for a while in Barcelona and see what life will bring to us.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

The most precious thing about traveling for me is to meet people. Somehow its a kind of souls collection that we'll keep always traveling with us.

Soon after having our place in BCN I want to host again travelers to pay back all the kindness and hospitality I always had during my travels.

Intereses

After years of different experiences traveling, I'm lately very interested in urban farming. The idea of producing good quality food in cities makes a lot of sense to me right now and i feel that it will be a way to connect myself again with a place (that story of growing roots :)

Sigur Ros is for me meditation.
I love films from Ingmar Bergman, Andrei Tarkovsky and Abbas Kiarostami.
I used to read a lot. Mainly romances. Right now i'm more interested in psychology.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I did 6 months of volunteer work in Angola. Lived 1 year in New Zealand. Traveled for 3 years in Asia, Middle East and Africa. Ive been arrested in Chad (I can explain that but its a long story and needs a beer).

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I can share respect, honesty, responsibility, good food and good spontaneous conversation. I admire people that are honest and direct. That are not afraid of being what they are. People that are honestly searching for the inner true.
