About Me

CURRENT MISSION

share my life with my fellow men

ABOUT ME

I have always been interested in travelling and in experiencing new cultures. In the years 2009/2010 I spent a year abroad in NE, USA as an exchange student. Looking back, I am glad that I stayed on a farm and I had the chance to get to know the "simple" life.
After my graduation I always wanted to do a voluntary service abroad to live and work for one year outside of the environment that I am used to. Finally, here I am. Staying in Ecuador, a breath taking country, and living my dream. I work in Quito in the environmental education.
I am so curious to get to know new people with who I can share ideas, views and jokes.
But if you started wondering what the "wizard" looking profile picture, well, its me with 16 years graduating. But I can asure you one thing that if we met up, I will have a smile on my face!

PHILOSOPHY

Birds in a cage talk about flying. Free birds fly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

With a friend of mine I started couchsurfing during our summer break in England. I gained a lot of great unforgettable experiences, so this why I continued participating. Until now, I did not have the chance to host people, because I still have not lived by myself so far.
For sure, I have great interest to host people once I get back to Germany and enter university.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed once during summer vacaciones in England for three weeks.

Interests

I am interested in a lot of things. I really enjoy to do sports. I play soccer in a club. Besides that, I like to go running, to play tennis and any sports which take place in the nature.
I am also in favor with music. I have been playing the clarinet for about 9 years and started playing the piano one year and a half ago.
Of course I like to go out and to spend great times with my friends at the weekend.

Music, Movies, and Books

I nearly listen to all kids of music aside from metal rock. I fell in love with the story of the little prince which is orginally a children´s book but it has a deeper sense.
I can just recommend the movies "Into the wild" and "The beach".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent about a year in Cambridge, Nebraska, USA as an exchange student. It gave me the opportunity to travel around easily in the US and to visit many places.Amongst other things, lying at the roof of a car at feeling a the beauty of the star sky overhelms you outside of town, in the country in NE, where you cannot find any lights. I have seen so far a few beautiful places in Ecuador, including the nature in the "Oriente".

Teach, Learn, Share

If you get the oppurtunity and want something in life, just grap it.
