我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Walked the streets of Paris alone and listened to a musician playing La Vie En Rose on the accordion, something I've imagined doing since I was a girl.

Danced tango with a blind man.

Lifted a horse off the ground and into my arms.

I was able to witness bubblenet feeding among Humpback whales in Alaska. This is a co-operative feeding behavior of Humpback whales, a group of whales working together will dive under schools of herring, one whale will swim in a circle while blowing bubbles under the herring. When the bubbles rise they form a net and scare the herring into a tight ball in the center. The whales then come up through the middle with their mouths open, capturing large amounts of food. Most amazing experience in nature I have ever seen.

I am a vegetarian and a firm believer that we should be intentional with what we consume and put in/on our bodies. I am blessed to live in a society where fresh produce is readily available. I try to encourage everyone I see to eat fresh and organically grown food rather than settling for something in a colorful box.

I will walk when I can, as I am blessed to have working legs. Being too stationary destroys the body and destroys the spirit.
