We have a unique opportunity for the right person.

We need a babysitter while we attend a work xmas function in Queenstown.

You will stay with us on Friday 2 December in Wanaka.

Saturday 3 December we will all leave for Queenstown where we will all stay in an apartment for the night (we will pay for the accommodation) while you will babysit Carlo.

On Sunday you can choose to stay in Qtown or come back to Wanaka for another night with us.

CS is not just about a free couch but also the exchange of cultures and skills.

I work from 7:00-17:00 6 days a week and Carolien are running behind a busy toddler full time while cooking, cleaning and washing.

To offer our amazing double bed room for free can be one of two things. An extra strain or an amazing blessing. Which one will you be?

I love showing travellers around and share many different adventures with them. I will help you in any way I can and it will be my pleasure and privilege to make your Wanaka visit as great as possible!

In return I only ask for you to share your best stories and join us for a meal or drink!

Messaging me or meeting up will not get you a place to sleep. But it has happened that a coffee turned into a two week stay or a lifelong friendship!

Accommodation in Wanaka is as hard to find as gold in the Cardrona river and I get many emergency requests for a couch!

I really get a lot of messages and always try to respond, but if I don't get around to you, please understand!

Hunting (I've hunted over 30 Species), Fishing (It's really about the boating), Biking, Kayaking, Pretty much anything outside is fun. Music fascinates me and I love watching people play (i try to play a few instruments), Philosophying into the night, Technology (boys & their toys),4x4 and exploring the world. Im always very interested in what & why other people believe, where they come from and where they are going and generally, people just fascinate me.
