Overview
About Me
Hello, my real name is Jenny. I am a teacher who loves what they do, the students, the lessons, the funny things that students say and the relationships you develop. Teaching TELF gives me chance to meet amazing people all around the World and experience many different outlooks. Me and my husband have been away from England for a number of years now and are always moving around. We always welcome weary travelers and love hosting people so if you fancy somewhere to stay you are more than welcome.
Now we are on the move again and hoping to meet new people as we explore a new part of the world over the next 5 months before we settle back in England!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the idea of a community of people around the World looking after each other. Me and my husband love to travel and meet people so you can understand why this would appeal to us.
Interests
Basically we love to be outdoors. Rock climbing, running, hiking, cycling, swimming, sailing and just anything that sounds fun. We are looking to do our dive master next year. We are often racing around windy hill roads on our motorbike with a tent on the back to find our own slice of peace of quiet. And food!

Music, Movies, and Books
This list could get pretty long so I will try and keep it short! Tom Waits, The Flaming Lips and John Grant are the main ones. In terms of books I am an avid reader. I tend to read one or two non-fiction books then a fiction one. I love reading history and arm-chair science books. Being British I feel that I need to regularly read Harry Potter! Otherwise I love curling up with a Murakami or an Atwood. I will watch any movie with an open mind. I love seeing new things and being surprised.I am a bit of a movie nerd.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Don't think I could name one. Me and my partner in crime climbed Sinabung volcano in Indonesia that erupted 6 months later! I consider that a close shave for a volcano! We also had a close encounter with a wild tiger and some near death experiences on the back of other people's motorbikes. I am still awed every time I go rock climbing and diving.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We love to cook, especially for other people and could show you how to knock up a range of dishes. We can also teach you to climb and show you a more rural corner of Korea. We are also pretty laid back souls.
