27JULY SINGAPORE then very loose plan of travel to MALAYSIA THAILAND INDIA about 6 weeks. Maybe we'll meet up!???

Though I go home to Texas often, I've become sort of a full-time traveler for 20yrs. Experienced all of Europe, taken the Trans-Siberian railroad, planes, trains, boats, even hitchhiked on boats and a plane. Myranmar, Cambodia, Mali, Bangladesh, to Libya, Ukraine, MiddleEast, 2/3 of Africa. Sadly, to places you can't go to now because of wars.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is for DISCOVERY; only you can do it for yourself. When you can't find a reason not to do something, only excuses, then you lose!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to be a goodwill ambassador representing my wonderful country no matter where I go or whom I meet. I don't like stereotyping people and love experiencing the Open Mind. I make also a donation regularly to the CS funds, hoping our World learns cooperation between all nations.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first time was in April'09 in Bangladesh. What energy -evoking experiences to stay with new CS friends in new and exciting countries.
Since then, it's been truly amazing, from new friends/ambassadors in Rio de Janeiro, to LIBYA, Kuwait and Kazakhstan to Nigeria and Senegal!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

"Amazing thing done" #1‐ being a grandma! After that, I guess "hitching" a ride from Manaus, Brazil upriver to almost the Venezuela border on a working tugboat with 3 barges of cargo trucks; "SEEN" Wildebeasts,lions and their cubs,zebras,giraffes,plus, in the wild in Tanzania,Namibia,SouthAfrica. AND, being pleasantly surprised with kindness shown in countries as Myranmar,Bangladesh, and India!

I've been doing something like this before CS, in Cuba, Albania...stayed in places not really hostels/hotels. It's been great. Just have to trust and yet use your instincts, and everything will be better than ever dreamed.
