Hello there ! I'm Manon, a 26 year-old french girl who lives in Asnières, just next to Paris (5min by train). I'm sociable, easy-going and joyful :) I work in the fashion industry, i'm a seamstress for a haute couture brand which is not an easy job and takes most of my time. That's why i'm less ans less available on CS.

I've been to several european countries and i like to make new encounters, share about each other's country, meet people. I speak mostly english, i also learnt a bit of german at school.

I am a bit geeky, stuck in front of my laptop but i also go out with my friends, do yoga and meditation, travel... I try to enjoy life as best as i can !
I am always impressed by people who seems like they travelled the world and speak more than 2 languages fluently... It's exactly what i want to achieve, break the routine, enjoy and be able to make friends all over the world :)

Travel more, learn more and always be curious.

I am surely naive or childish, and a bit lazy, i know i still have a lot to learn about life so that's why i'm welcoming new experiences, people with whom i can share and learn from.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Welcoming people to my home, show them around, go to CS meetings ! I like to travel, i want to travel, i'll definitely travel :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted quite a lot, travelled a little and enjoyed meetings very much ! It's always good to meet new people regularly, show them around, share a meal or drinks.

What i like the most is to hang out with CSers, get to know them a bit, follow them in their life once they are gone by sending an email from time to time or even visit them if i can... I love to receive postcards !!

Fashion, it's my job, my passion, i'm always bying new clothes and i love to look pretty ! (Sooooo superficial !!!)
Travels, i want to surf couches worlwide :)
Music, always listening some good sound and, here again CS is a good way to share !
Yoga and meditation is a part of my life, it helps me to live in the present and to let go :)

Films : Bridges of madison county and many Clint Eastwood movies, Cloudy with a chance of meatballs, Monty Python and H2G2 because it's absurd, The rocky horror picture show, Hot Fuzz & Shaun of the dead, Fanfan, Luc Besson's early films... Colin Firth in Pride and Prejudice ! Many series !

Music... Good old rock, electro, hiphop, pop, alternative rock. Usually not the kind of music one can listen on the radio !

And my book style is mostly fantasy (Orson Scott Card, Robin Hobb, Georges R.R. Martin) but i like to read classics and poems.
