CURRENT MISSION

We recently moved from the suburbs into one of the best areas of central Phoenix. One of the downsides of the move is that we went from receiving a couple surfing requests per year to a couple requests per day. It quickly became overwhelming and we had to change our availability to say we are not accepting guests. But we love all you couchsurfers and would love to host some of you. So if you are reading this feel free to send us a request regardless of what our status says. The odds are pretty good we will be able to help you out :)

ABOUT ME

We are a family of four. Two dads (a gay couple) and 11 year old twins (a boy and a girl). Very nice and outgoing. We have traveled extensively throughout Europe, the Caribbean and North America.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We always enjoy hosting surfers who are passing through this area. Anytime we are traveling I look for fun surfers to hang with.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've hosted several surfers and have surfed a few times while traveling.

Intereses

Interested in pretty much everything. Before having children we were extremely active with things like scuba diving, snowboarding, hiking and exploring the world. The kids have slowed us down a bit but we still are passionate about living life to its fullest. Now we stay active by hiking or trail running through the Phoenix Mountain Preserve (only about 3 miles from our house), swimming in our amazing backyard, playing in the huge community park down the street or simply hanging out with friends.

We enjoy all music and books. We prefer movies that are funny or adventerous.

We have had many extraordinary adventures and it would be difficult to choose just one. We have explored rain forests, the tallest mountains, caves, deserts, big cities, small villages and the ocean.
