About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn as much about the world to help bring it together

ABOUT ME

I like to define myself by my actions, but since I can't do that here I'll do my best. I'm outgoing and amiable, I can relate to others easily, I like to learn new things about almost everything, I'm always ready for adventure, and constantly seek the thrill of living on this pale blue dot.

PHILOSOPHY

In order to understand others, one has to put themselves in other person's shoes. Learn where they come from, their culture, their traditions, their family, and then you would have understood 75% percent of who they are, the other 25% percent can only be learned by spending time with that person.
In terms of what I live by is to do what I can, with what I have, NOW!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Visited St. Petersburg, Russia and used CS'ers for my first time and I'm so glad I did. It was like finding my lost family. Everyone I met through here was truly amazing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've been a hostel enthusiast, where you can meet lots of great people and share experiences together as travelers from different parts of the world in a different part of the world. I expect couchsurfing is a similar experience but more intimate. I've hosted twice now and enjoyed spending time with the surfers that have come.

Interests

I'm learning all I can about space and space sustainability and eventual travel. I believe engaging in such endeavors brings the best out of humanity. I'm also learning French; I take courses to keep up my proficiency, but what I would really like to do is master the Russian language. Prior to me living in Colorado, I lived in California and tried exploring all of it while picking up a few extreme sports; I learned how to rock-climb, surf, and snowboard. Now I've picked up skydiving and SCUBA diving.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Kili (Kilimanjaro in Africa) was pretty Epic.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning from people that are interested in learning. Those that study the human condition and are trying to make a difference in the world in their own particular ways.

I'm constantly amazed by the things I encounter. It could be a sight at the end of a long and arduous hike and you are standing at the top of the highest mountain around and you get to see how amazing this planet is and how fortunate we are to live in such a rich and fragile place. For all we know we could be living in a planet like Mars, barren and desolate, but instead we get to live here, so take advantage of it. Other things that amaze me is human ingenuity and potential to create such amazing things when we put our minds together, such as the moon landing, incredible skyscrappers ...etc.
