I certainly used to sleep on lots of friends' couches, mostly when i was younger.

Interests

I love the outdoors. being retired i get a lot of chances to be there, and find myself traveling away from NYC during the winter and summer to find better climate, and fresher air; recently relocated to FL.
I like a good game of Scrabble, and chess. I also like playing the piano and singing.
I also lived in an intentional community and value the communities movement.

Music, Movies, and Books

i'm a natural movie critic. aren't too many good movies that Hollywood produces anymore. I tend to read on the internet, newspapers and magazines rather than books, but for 20 years I devoured books about eastern philosophy, buddhism, and zen.

Hiking in the Himalayas was unforgettable

I can teach someone to throw a frisbee, or better still, an Aerobie. or chess for beginners. I can share my knowledge of buddhist thought.
