About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to live life's great adventure and to meet really cool people like YOU!
ABOUT ME
I'm high energy, quick to laugh and always down to have a good time. I speak spanish and have lived in the USA, Barcelona, and Turks and Caicos. I've traveled across North America, Spain, UK, Turkey, Morocco, Israel, Jordan, Japan, India, Russia, Cuba and Panama and am always planning my next adventure in my head! Its a miracle I get any other work done.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in pushing the boundaries within the limits of reason. I want to see all there is and do all there is and feel like if I don't keep pushing I'll miss something really great. I also enjoy drinking tea slowly and watching the clouds pass by.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I take life seriously, but I laugh. A lot.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm totally stoked on the idea of meeting new people and understanding the world through local eyes.
Before joining, I met a CouchSurfer at a restaurant in the Asian side of Istanbul. She was having dinner at the table over from mine, by herself. So, I leaned over and asked her about her food and we started a conversation. She ended up taking my friend and I to a bar that showcased Turkish bands that played Turkish Folk music. We ended up Turkish folk dancing the night away, through 4 encores, at this bar. We met the next night again and experienced the modern nightlife of Istanbul and partied until our flight departed the following morning. Meeting her was the highlight of my trip and the the most likely reasons she spoke to me was because she was a CouchSurfer and loved meeting new travelers and showing off her city. She and I are still friends.
I can't wait to do that in every new place I go and hopefully offer that to whoever comes to visit my city.
Interests
I love to travel - it seems cliche to put it here, but there you go. I really do.
I also love to cook and garden and behold the majesty of the universe, whether its at St. Peter's Basilica, the beach, Golden Gate Bridge, or my mother's kitchen.
I love the Olympics and world sport in general including tennis, skiing and speed skating.
I'm interested in having the absolute best time.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really like Lauryn Hill, indie rock music, Sean Paul, Bjork, Verdi, Martin Solveig, Beyonce, Juanes and Indian classical music. The sky is the limit. It just needs to have a great beat.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I decided after seeing a picture of La Sagrada Familia that I would one day visit. 5 years later, I moved to Barcelona and it changed my life.
I visited the Hagia Sofia in Istanbul and stood where Emperor Justinian once stood almost a thousand years before. It was mind blowing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a man about the city. I love checking out what's new and am always willing to try a new cocktail. I also love politics, world sports, vegetarian cooking, mojitos and sangria and would love to share it with whoever I meet.
