I am a working commercial photographer, currently living in Vancouver British Columbia Canada. I often travel the world for many different reasons. The most important one is that I am very curious about world cultures. I am always amazed by the people that I met. They always could show me a whole new way of living by adapting to the local cultures.

I enjoy and treasure the experience of meeting and chatting with people all over the world. I can always enjoy a very smart and informative conversation with them. I would like to meet more warm hearted people while I am traveling. And hope some amazing friendship will be developed.

I am a quiet and polite person but with great sense of humour and very good manors. I am also great person to hangout with. I always have some good ideas to do something interesting and fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find couch-surfing is a great way to meet local people. And by talking and living with the hosts. I can understand more and in depth of the local culture. This is the most amazing part of the travel experience. And I can also make a lot of great friends though couch-surfing.

Interests

I love Photography, that's why I became a photographer. I often take photos around the world for myself and for sharing with friends. So I can share the experience for them to consider for future trips. I sing a little bit, but mostly jazz. from Frank Sinatra to Michael Buble, from Ella Fitzgerald to Louis Armstrong. I will sing when ever I can.
I do professional Recording on the side. And have been working with a few great musicians locally.

Music, Movies, and Books

All that Jazz. Vocal Jazz, Asid Jazz, Lounge Jazz. You name it, I love it.
I like suspense movies, all those smart stories. Ie, The Game, Rounders, Oceans 11, 12, 13.
I love to read philosophical books. Both in English and Chinese. Recently I start develop a lot interests in a series of books called Freakonomics.

Finish my Paragliding courses. Now I am certified to fly! yeah!

I have taught English for about 6 years in china, And I used to host an english radio program in a radio station in China. We had 28 million listeners. I'd like to learn anything that is special and interesting.
