My name is Waqas. I have been living in Australia for past 2 years. Before that, I was living in Middle East, and various other countries in Asia and Africa. I like travelling and exploring.

I am an active and social person with a sense of humour who likes to explore new places and meet new people , I love sharing with others and learning from them whether about cultures, languages or their stories.

I am usually a solo traveler but I enjoy sharing my experiences with fellow travellers, friends or family and bring a smile to their faces that I can capture with my camera and create that everlasting memory.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people and locals when travelling, in my previous trips I used to book my own accommodation but a friend of mine told me about Couchsurfing and I found it a great way to meet and share experiences with other people.

I also find it more interesting to explore a city from a local's perspective and get the tips about activities that may not be in your travel guides and have always given tips to fellow travellers in Australia and for other places I had visited.
